About Eastern Motors Ltd
Eastern Motors Ltd. began working with Bridgestone Tire of Japan more than sixty‑four years ago. In 1950, Bridgestone Corporation appointed Eastern Motors Ltd as its sole authorized distributor in Bangladesh—a long‑standing partnership built on trust, quality, and performance.

The company earned its strong reputation under the visionary leadership of its founder, the late Nurul Islam Bhuyan. His dedication, integrity, and business acumen laid the foundation for Eastern Motors Ltd to become a respected name in the automotive and tire industry of Bangladesh.
Following the passing of the founder, Mr. Mukhlesur Rahman assumed full responsibility of the company. Under his leadership, the relationship between Bridgestone and Eastern Motors Ltd reached a significant turning point.
After strategic discussions with Bridgestone Corporation in Japan, a new dealership and marketing strategy was introduced on May 1, 1986. This initiative proved to be a remarkable success, even in a highly competitive tire market.
By 2014, the Bridgestone dealer network under Eastern Motors Ltd expanded to over 100 dealers nationwide, reinforcing the company’s position as an industry leader in Bangladesh.
